I wanted my two volume two tone guitar changed by eliminating one of the volume pots. Tried to do it myself and realized I had gotten in over my head. Jumped on line and luckily found Marcelo at Wanderkauven. He took a look at my guitar and said he could have it done that day. When he realized that we lived in the same town he offered to drop the guitar off at my home. He did a great job and since then I had him do neck setting, fret leveling and polishing. You would have a hard time finding a more skilled and likable guy.

Marcelo was very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I've had an Epiphone acoustic for over 15 years, but the neck of my guitar was bending. He fixed it, as well as reinforced it so it wouldn't bend for again. It sounded so good after, and the strings he put on there I think I'll be buying again moving forward.

1967 Gibson ES-335 TDC Headstock repair - Marcelo took on what I feared might be an irreparable job on my vintage guitar - and the result is astonishing. It had been broken and badly repaired at least three times over the last 50 years and was an ugly mess. Marcelo stabilized and routed out much of the mess, inserted matched mahogany splints and stained and refinished it into an invisible repair - maintaining the lacquer checking and aging perfectly. It sounds much better as well - which was unexpected - and has improved the value way beyond the repair cost. Highly recommended.

Very good experience. I wanted to get a lot of upgrades to my guitar (new tuners, new pickup, new nut, and a total setup). The owner was very kind and talked me through all of the options available and we agreed on pricing. He did really excellent work at a fair price and with fast turn-around, he had everything finished in one week. I would definitely come here again.

Marcelo did great work. I had him replace a bad pick-up and do a general tune-up of my old 335 style guitar. He did great work. Now I have a new problem: I can't put the guitar down, as it plays so well. Very nice guy as well. Five stars.

After picking up my Stat from Waundekauven guitar who had performed woodwork on the neck, I deciced to drop off two other guitars that I wanted the same work done. Again, playing for some time, the neck was perfect for the size of my fingers across the neck, and am incredibly happy as the guitar now has a total different feel. Watned to mention that he also fixed the circuuity on one of the guitars while adjusting the height of the bridge on the other. He seemed to genuinley care about the guiuitar and fixed it with a great level of detail and care which is much appreciated.

Brought in an old guitar that hadn't been used for a while. I don't know much about guitar setup, but it didn't sound great and the frets had a lot of corrosion and gunk on them. Marcelo polished them up, restrung the guitar, and set everything up to where it looked and sounded as good as new. He was really nice about everything - very informative and happy to educate me. Turnaround time was a day and a half, but I think it would have been even faster if I didn't bring it in on Saturday evening. Highly recommend for anyone who needs their guitar to be setup or restored!
